*During the past 4 years I have felt at home and happy in New York, but it is time to return to Tokyo for a new assignment.

*Three years have passed very quickly since I came here. Recently, I have received a new assignment where I will be stationed in Düsseldorf as the new General Manager of Gebew Corporation (EU) GmbH. I will be leaving New York in mid-March.

*The time has come to say farewell to my good friends and business associates with whom I have had the privilege of being acquainted during the past three years in New York. I will soon be on my way to Chicago, Illinois to take up a new assignment at Gebew Corporation (USA) Inc., Chicago Branch.

*“Time flies like an arrow” are the exact words I am reminded of at this time. Since I came to the United States in 1985 with the spirit of a pioneer and abundant enthusiasm, two decades have passed like an arrow.

(1) As we all know, in business, we must review and change our direction from time to time. The same applies for one’s personal life and career. I have decided to pursue new plans for my future as you already know, but I would like to take this opportunity to inform you personally that I will be leaving Gebew Corporation as of December 31, 2005.
